Sometimes in life, you and I step into a valley of life that we were not expecting and which we never asked for and which we cannot do anything about. This valley illustrates some circumstances we cannot change, something we cannot control. Sometimes, we wander in this valley aimlessly for a very long time and often times the instant response to this is frustration. We can get frustrated with out lives, our jobs, people around us etc. What exactly is frustration?
It is that feeling that we are being hindered. The feeling that we know what we want to do but not know how to go about doing it. It is the feeling of being held back. The feeling of not having wind in our sails. Frustration has two perspectives: the one that brings dejection and the one that excites. Can one feel excited by frustration? Oh, yes!
Frustration is internal. It is your response to it that determines its outcome. If you are someone that feels hopeless and give up on situations then you will never escape frustration but if you are one of the few people like Apostle Paul who finds God in every situation and thus find joy in such situation then you will overcome that situation and move to the next level. When you find yourself in a frustrating situation, do not despair. Look for God. He is there somewhere. He will help lead you out of that valley.
