Life is like a marketplace with lots and lots of wares on display. These wares have ways of calling our names albeit unnecessarily because most times, we do not need them. But because of their eye-appeal, we get them, bring them home and the trouble will begin.
One of the secrets of life is knowing how to choose one's battle. What does that even mean? It means it is not everything that is worth our time. It is not everything we engage in. It is not everyone we release our time to. It is not everything we waste our time on.
If you do not learn how to choose your battles, you will be like that person that bought what they do not need. You will waste your time and other essentials. Life is a full-blown war but each and every one of us have been assigned specific battle(s). If you like, go and waste time with what is not your business. Learn to focus on your battles, that is the only one you can win!
I pray for grace from God to focus on my battles for victory, in Jesus name. Amen.
