One thing that is lost in the world today is PEACE. Turmoil, wars, rumors of war, evil acts, problems, challenges and all sorts of negativity is what abound. Anywhere you turn, there is always one form of bad vibe or the other. This turn of event is giving some of us a spiritual hard time. We worry for our safety, the safety of our loved ones etc.
But in the face of the negativity the world has been subjected to, we need to dig out God's Word because that is our banner. The Word of God is our refuge, our safe haven in perilous times. It is our strong tower where we can find peace and quiet. Not only that, it is the only guarantee to quench the spiritual hard time we are experiencing.
Jesus told anyone that believes that His peace He will give to us. Of course there will be challenges but if we can hold on with faith, we will overcome the panic and fear that are threatening our hearts. Let your heart focus of Jesus' Word. Focus on Him. Do not look at what is happening around you. Looking at those things will make your heart sink but if you focus on Jesus and His Word, you and yours will make it to the other side, safely!
