It is not everybody that has good intentions for you and the closer they get to you the easier it will be for them to hurt you. That is why it is necessary for you to carefully choose the people you want to get close to. Ensure that such person/s have the mind of Christ.
As for you, in any relationship you find yourself, make sure you are a light and salt. Positively impact anyone you come in contact with. Let people go home and thank God because of you. Let others see Jesus in you. Be good, be kind. Be gentle, be nice. These are ways of Christ.
