Common sense dictates that we have plans. This is not about just having plans for your life, but rather having plans and then backing up the plans. We have our original plan, and then we have plan B, plan C, etc. There is always an escape strategy outlined in order not to be caught unaware.
Well, that is the world for you. It encourages you to plan your life; do this and do that, and if they do not work, do something else, as outlined in the life's work book. While this seems cool, it is a no-no for a genuine child of God. When we come to God, He must be our all. There must be no other plan with Him.
The world teaches us not to put all our eggs in one basket, but when it comes to God, put all your eggs and then yourself in that basket. God does not tolerate having backup plans with Him. He is either all or nothing; there is no 50/50 with Him. He desires our 100%. The good news is that He is capable of exceeding our expectations, but He ALONE...
