All men desire reward. All men seek reward. Is desiring or seeking reward a bad thing? No! A reward is a payment for effort and value. If you are valuable and willing to put in the effort, you will definitely get the reward. There are all sorts of rewards for our efforts, and the one we should always look out for is the King's reward. What does that mean?
A king's reward is the most superior of all rewards, so getting it is not as easy as it seems. A great deal of exertion is needed. For a man to command a king's reward, he must have done something exceptional. This is where men like Joseph, David, Daniel, Mordecai, etc. are a case in point. They were willing to do things that were unusual; they brought exceptional value to the forefront.
If you desire and seek the king's reward, I congratulate you. It is possible, but are you willing to pay the price? Getting it places great emphasis on personal development and sacrifice. King's rewards are not easy to get (kings have been known to be very careful with their valuables), but if you can turn yourself into a man of premium, uncommon value by relying on God's grace, I bet you already have the reward!
