STOP! DON'T LITTER

Littering is an environmental hazard. It is not only hazardous to the environment but eventually comes back to visit us, albeit negatively. Take for instance, water pollution. When we pollute our bodies of water, it affects the ecosystem and any interaction we have with that particular water will open doors to myriads of health challenges for us. This is why we are warned to thrash appropriately. 

The same way God keeps warning us about littering our lives. Just as you see on your way - a can here, a nylon bag there, a bag of spoilt food over there, etc., everything eventually adds up to become garbage which is an ugly sight. When we permit a little sin here, excuse another there, or turn our eyes from another, it will add up to stink up our lives.

Just as there are agencies dedicated to fighting pollution, God through His Spirit in us is also helping to fight our spiritual pollution. When we release our lives to Him, He will greatly help to guide and lead us in ways whereby we can learn how to tackle the problems of sin. Just as garbage in wrong places is an offense to our senses, so also is sin an offense to the Holy Spirit’s sensibilities. Choose not to litter your life.
