Are you aware that God knows what fits you even better than you can ever do? Yes! He knows what befits you more than you think. We often think something is the best thing that can ever happen to us, but God always thinks otherwise. One of the great men of God in Nigeria, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, when still young in the ministry, asked God for a three-bedroom apartment.
While to him that was a big deal, God promised to give him a city. Today, he owns a city in Nigeria. David was happy tending sheep in the wilderness, but God gave him the nation of Israel. All Joseph wanted was to escape the prison, but God gave him Egypt, etc. But all these people have one thing in common:
They all were and are in a relationship with God. God knows what fits you, and He is willing to give it to you, but first you must give Him what befits Him. Giving God part of yourself doesn't fit Him. He desires the whole of you. He can go beyond your expectations, but first, you are responsible for something. Work on that and watch Him unravel your life.
