Fear is one of the most crippling emotions that man is subjected to, if not the foremost. In fact, it is the leader of other negative forces. Once fear is estableshed, anything can happen. It is a negative response to what we do not relish. Sometimes, it goes beyond mere recoiling, as man has been known to be paralyzed by fear. Many situations in life keep us in perpetual fear, but is that okay?
If we look at it from the world's perspective, it says that FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. Looking at it from a biblical angle, it says that even though we walk through the valley of the SHADOW of death, we will FEAR no evil. Fear is a satanic tactic used to derail us from our goal. Whatever the devil wants us to be afraid of is nothing but a shadow.
A shadow is a harmless representation of reality, yet it is often portrayed as larger than life. When protected by darkness, it grows big, but when exposed to light, it gets smaller. Expose your fears to the LIGHT OF CHRIST and watch them melt away. Fear is not of God. He has not given it to us. Grow your FAITH!
