In spite of this, there are periods in which desert journey is a necessity to our destiny fulfilment. It is not palatable yet it is necessary. The Israelites were on their way to the Promised Land but in order to get there, they had to pass through the wilderness. That is not their destination but the road there.
If you thus find yourself in the desert of life, keep Moving. That is not the destination but a means to an end. The pain you are currently feeling is a necessity. It means you are doing something right. Keep your destination in view. Let it be your motivation. If you are resolute and faithful to God, one day, you will wake up and the pain will be gone.
