Talking about God's peace rooted in fulfillment, have you ever considered why you are so restless and unhappy most of the time? Have you ever wondered why, having accumulated a lot of material stuff, they stop giving you satisfaction after a while, or why someone who used to give you so much joy and happiness no longer seems to know how?
The basic reason for this level of 'confusion' can be found in these two questions: Who are you? and What do you want'? Who we are transcends any physical identity like your name, tribe, culture, etc. What you want goes beyond physical cravings. If you do not settle these questions, you will wander through life fruitlessly and eventually lose who you are.
Who you are is ingrained in your life purpose, and what you want are the necessary tools to achieving that purpose. Only God knows what your purpose is, and it is in Him that you find it. Running away from Him will give you disillusionment, which always leads to tragedy. The questions of who we are and what we want can only be answered by God. Would you turn to Him today?
