While growing up, we were able to read about a character called Oliver Twist. He was a disadvantaged child who invoked the wrath of his caregivers by asking for 'more'. It was forbidden for any child then to ask for additional food, but the condition of Oliver made him do so, and this led to trouble.
While men do not care to give us more, we have a Father who purposely gives and wants to give us more of anything that we desire, as long as it is within His will. James told us that He gives us 'more grace'. God specifically told David that if he had asked, He would have given him more.
No matter what you have or desire, you do not need to be covetous or envious. All you need to do is ask your Heavenly Father for more. He is the owner of everything, and if we desire 'seconds' or 'thirds', He will willingly give us them. You do not need to be afraid to ask. You are just a prayer away from receiving MORE...
