Sometimes in our lives, we have pain and sorrow, and the only readily available option is to give up. If we do give up at times like these people will understand, we have tried our best, but will God? That question should be a motivation to drive us forward and develop faith like potatoes.
Potatoes belong to the class of crops that grow underneath the soil. Unlike corn, where you can determine its growth, you have to take potatoes at their face value. Although you cannot see it, you have to believe that it is somewhere there doing what potatoes ought to be doing: growing, developing, and waiting to manifest.
In the same regard, you need to trust that God is doing something about your condition, even if you can't see what. You have to trust that He has your best interests at heart and that He is working something out for you. Develop your faith and encourage yourself that if the potatoes grow without you seeing them, then God is also working on your behalf, even if you can't see it.
Read Hebrews 11 for more on faith.
Thanks and God bless you for this encouraging piece.
