A seemingly small, irrelevant question that has successfully turned the lives of many for the better. Many of us go through life thinking we have nothing. We have successfully settled this in our minds to the extent that we have concluded that we will never amount to much because we do not have 'many things'.
The thing is, no one is born empty. Everyone of us has been born equipped with something, and it is that thing that matters. Moses had his rod. David had his catapult. The prophet's widow had little oil. The widow of Zarephath had a little oil and flour. Joseph could interpret dreams. Esther was beautiful. Daniel had faith. Abraham was obedient, etc.
It does not matter what you have; if you can give it to God, He will bless your life with it. The problem with many is that, like the unprofitable wicked servant, they think one talent is not enough. They desire big and better stuff, but all these things do not matter to God. He is only concerned about what He has given you, not what He has not. Beloved, what is in your hand?
