It was a normal day in ancient Canaan. Some men came to a woman and sought her assistance in protecting them. Even though she was a woman of dubious character, she hastily rendered help. That little gesture saved the household of that woman named Rahab from destruction. She eventually found her way to the genealogy of Christ.

MY GIFT AND I
All of this became a possibility because that woman made use of her gift of hospitality. A man's gift, the Bible advises, will take him to great places. What gift are you hiding? Stop hiding your light under a bushel. Your gift, no matter how small, is given to you by God to help you. If you don't, there will be problems.
In anything you do, do not despise your gifts. No matter how small it is. Rahab could have refused the men, but she did not. Whatever it is that comes easy to you to do, work on it; it is a gift. Do not compare your gift with someone else's. Just as our faces are different, so are our gifts, but that does not diminish their uniqueness. USE YOUR GIFT!
