NOT YOUR FAULT BUT NOW YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

I sometimes look at life through the lens of its unfairness. Yes, life may seem unfair sometimes, and it will seem as if one has been born into a disadvantaged system. For instance, a child whose parents died at a very young age and who was forced to live with relatives who did not show love to him or her

 

If this child were to describe life, he or she might believe it not to be fair, as life may not have been kind due to the treatment. The thing is, many of us have found ourselves in many disadvantaged situations, and while it is not our fault, it is now our responsibility to make lemon juice out of those lemons.

 

There is not much time to wallow in self-pity. Dust yourself up and take control of your life, but with the guidance of God. He knows everything about you even before birth, just as He told Jeremiah, and He is the only one who can help turn your life around for good. Stop pointing at your background as an excuse for your failure. It may not be your fault, but you now have the responsibility to make something great come out of a bad situation.
