THE KINDNESS OF GOD

King David went down in history as one of the few people who really understood the 'heart' of God. No wonder even God refers to him as a man after His heart. Oh, how i wish many of us today would be welcome into that inner circle of God's favour. This label was not just given because David panted after God but also because he cared about others too.

When his friend Jonathan died, he could have been happy that there would be no one from that lineage to threaten his throne but being a man with a heart of gold, he sought out Jonathan's son to bestow God's kindness on him. Please, borrow a leaf. Is there someone around you there that can make use of God's kindness from you?

What David did was restore hope to a hopeless man. In your journey today, extend God's kindness to someone that can never pay you back. Give someone hope. Help pay someone's school fees. Mentor a teen. Share God's love. The world is a dark place but, you have been sent to be the light. Make your light SHINE! THE KINDNESS OF GOD...
