GENTLE REMINDER: God is still in the business of lifting men. In fact, He is the best at doing that. The Bible instances of His accomplishments are faithful reminders for us to keep trusting. When I think of Hannah, Job, Jabez, Rachel, Abraham, Jacob, and a host of others, I cling to hope in Him. Of a truth, most times it seems the tunnel will never end and light will not shine.
Beloved, that is a lie. God is yet to create an endless tunnel. To every beginning, it is said that there is an end. Only God reserves the right to endlessness. When the going gets rough, brace yourself and continue, knowing fully well that you are not alone; right beside you is the Lord walking with you. Do not despair. Do not be afraid.
Faithful is He who has called you, and He will also do it. He is not a liar. He is not the author of confusion. Tether yourself firmly to Him like Abraham, like Job, and like the other greats that have gone before you. Voice your concerns in prayers like the Psalmists. Be dogged in your approach like the three Hebrews. He has lifted men and women, and He will lift you up too... this year. In Jesus' name.
