Every step in your journey through life has a purpose. Life is like a ladder; every rung matters. If you attempt to jump a rung, it could result in your death. Unnecessary accidents in life happen because we try to make a 'smart' move. Any move that is not in accordance with the rule of God is not smart. Many people try to take a shortcut through life, but unfortunately, there is no shortcut in nature. Everything must go through the proper process.
The Mathematicians insist that the shortest distance between points A and B is a straight line. What this is telling you is that moving according to the rules of life, which connote a straight line, will get you to your destination faster. Any attempt to bypass the set rules will result in avoidable problems. One step at a time is the best advice you can give and receive.
You may not see your destination, but you still need to take the step. If you are intentional and consistent enough, one day you will wake up and, bam!, be at your destination. Do not join the company of those who try to 'cheat' nature. There is no cheat code or "hack" in life. Everyone of us must take the necessary steps to get to where we are destined to be. If you fail a class, repeat it, learn your lesson, and try again. God honours faithfulness.
