One of the most profound verses of the Scriptures is Eccl. 12:13. It states clearly, God's expectation of man. Every one of us has been created by Him for a specific purpose, and the end of that purpose is to GLORIFY HIM. It may seem absurd to the unspiritual mind, but the reason we have been "sent" is to bear witness to HIM.
Whatever our profession in life, there is an intrinsic necessity to disseminate God's glory. When there is an understanding of this, the person could be said to be used by God. In essence, whatever you are doing must be done according to God's will and to make others appreciate Him more. If God is not being glorified in what you are doing, check yourself; there is a problem...
It is considering this that we can say that someone who is saving lives, helping others, walking the righteous path, etc. is being used by God, while someone who is defrauding, manipulating, and destroying others is not. Please carefully examine your work. Is God being glorified in your day-to-day activities? If the answer is no, then God is not using you, something else is. Do something about that, NOW!
