THE BLAME GAME

We have all been to "blamesville," where we get blamed or blame others for everything and anything that goes wrong in our lives without taking innocence into consideration. No one is exempt from being blamed. I have seen people blame their unborn babies for the way their lives turn out. You may wonder, like I did, how a fetus can be responsible for any action, yet some parents blame their unborn children..

On the other end of the spectrum, some choose to blame their ancestors too. Any way you want to turn it, there is always a fall guy. Ever since Adam directly blamed Eve and indirectly blamed God for His decision, we have sort of found solace in shifting our "burden" onto others. It is a sort of relief because when someone else gets the blame for our offense, it somehow gives us closure.
 
Well, God is not interested in accusations. He is not interested in our finger-pointing, blame-shifting acts. More than we know, He understands everything better, and He would rather we come clean with Him than try to hide like Adam. That is the reason He sent His beloved Son into this sin-sick world to help us. Christ has not come to judge us. Let us boldly come to Him for GRACE...
