Beloved, you or someone you know might have been a very hard worker, a very focused individual who always focused on the target but, in the end, hit brick walls. On the other hand, you meet someone who never needs to lift a finger to get what they want; life just seems very easy for them.
Life can be unfair sometimes, and when we are confronted with unexpected results, we tend to doubt ourselves. We doubt our efforts and our capacity. We feel inadequate compared to those who have it easy, and it does not make sense. We get confused and bewildered.
But that is a trap. When you are doing the right things and not getting the right results, do not focus on the results because if you do, you will be lost. What you need to do is reach out to your God and seek His assistance. There just might be something you are missing, and only He knows. Surrender your works to Him, and He will perfect them.
