Have you ever been in a situation, or is that even what you are currently experiencing? whereby what you are doing seems not to make sense to others. To them, it may be that you are either wasting your life or that the enemy has finally colonized you. It becomes strenuous for you to explain yourself, as you have explained and explained, but they are just not getting it.
Well, if that is you, be at rest. If you are of God, there are times He will commission you for some special projects that seem unreasonable. Why did Noah agree to build an ark when it had never rained? Why did Abraham leave Haran for an unknown destination? Why did Anna choose to go and minister in the temple all the days of her life? Why did Paul jettison his lofty career to become a follower of a new religion he once hated?
All these people and others might have had a hard time explaining themselves because they themselves may not understand why. They just felt the compulsion to do so. Some mocked Jesus' on the cross and taunted Him to save Himself. He knew better. He knew God was trying to achieve something awesome, and He did. So, if God gives you a seemingly unreasonable task, humor Him and commit to it. The end is always glorious.
