When we come to Christ, there is an expectation of what we are to do. When Paul the apostle got converted, his first question was to ask what God's expectation of him was. Before you say that is for people in ministry, when Peter the apostle preach and the people surrendered to Christ, there heart cry was God's expectation of them (cf. Acts 2).
None of us can escape God's expectation of us. It is written that we have been created in Christ unto good works (Eph. 2/10). You must be willing to do something for God when we surrender to Christ. The goodnews is that He will not leave you helpless. There is always sufficient GRACE for anyone willing to take the baton. If you don't know His expectation for you, ask Him.
